Bonza Celebrates One-Year Anniversary with a Major 50% Off Sale

Bonza Airlines

Australian low-cost carrier Bonza, marking a significant milestone in its journey, has announced a 50% discount on its fare prices. This move comes as the airline celebrates one year since its launch, having received the green light from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) to operate. Over the past year, Bonza has made a notable impact on Australian aviation, executing the largest network roll-out in the country's history. It launched 38 routes to 21 destinations across five states and territories, serving over 650,000 travelers in 2023.

This four-day sale, starting on January 8 and ending on January 11, is designed for travel across several periods in 2024. Tim Jordan, Bonza's CEO, emphasised the airline's commitment to democratizing the aviation sector with low-cost airfares. The sale positions Bonza as a game-changer in the Australian aviation landscape, offering affordable travel options to a wide audience. It allows families and friends to travel to destinations like the Northern Territory for less than $75 per person, and to places like North Queensland or Tasmania for under $50 per person.

Bonza's initiative includes 24,000 seats priced at an unbelievable $59 or less. This initiative is not just about affordability but also about enabling Australians to explore their country's beauty. The sale covers popular routes such as the Gold Coast to Cairns, Mackay, Mt Isa, and Melbourne, among others. It's a call to adventure, encouraging people to create memories in some of Australia’s most beloved locales.

Recognizing the financial strain of the festive season, Bonza's timing with this sale is strategic. It's an acknowledgment of the year-end costs and a gesture to reward people with affordable getaways. Looking ahead, Bonza remains committed to easing the burden of living costs for Australians, with a strong focus on reducing airfare expenses. This approach is expected to continue delivering substantial savings for domestic travelers throughout the year, reinforcing Bonza's dedication to making air travel more accessible.
