January 10, 2024 - Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) witnessed the unveiling of the new ground uniform for the frontliners of AeroDarat Services (ADS), a ground-handling arm of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG).

Reflecting a blend of modernity and cultural homage, the new uniform signifies MAG's commitment to incorporating Malaysia's rich heritage while adapting to contemporary design. The collection includes a tailored three-piece suit, offering both skirt and trouser options for women, made from breathable and easy-to-care fabric. This design prioritizes comfort and convenience, essential for frontliners who handle a wide range of aviation services for all airlines under MAG, as well as international carriers operating in Malaysia.

The uniform's design, created by MAG's own creative team, features a classic navy-blue color scheme, accented with an intricate 'songket' pattern. This detail beautifully marries Malaysia's vibrant culture with the uniform's modern aesthetic. The ground uniform is designed to accommodate the diverse roles of frontliners in both above-the-wing and below-the-wing operations. The lightweight blazer offers versatility, easily removed for more strenuous tasks while maintaining a professional look.

Datuk Captain Izham Ismail, Group Managing Director of MAG, emphasized that the new ground uniform symbolizes a commitment to professionalism and equality. It is also a celebration of the internal talent at MAG, reflecting the unity and creativity vital for the organization's progress.

In a notable move towards sustainability, MAG also introduced the first-ever ground staff handbag and clutch, repurposed from the previous kebaya uniforms. This initiative highlights MAG's dedication to sustainable practices and honors the organization's historical journey.
